* Help

"SPG BW" offers context-sensitive help; that is, when you press F1 on a specific item in a list, help related to that item is displayed.
In the "General" section, you can choose help in Spanish or English.

* Some parameters

Some sounds correspond to the memory that remains, more or less distorted, after listening to hit songs many times. Examples of this type are the internal programs "_All that she wants", "Battiato", "Sitar", "_Shout", etc.
"Real sound" attempts to imitate some types of real sound. It is used in the internal programs "Voice RS", "String 04", etc.
"LPF kbd track" makes the high-frequency filter maintain values proportional to the key number. It is used in the internal program "_Finger noise".
"Noisy" produces noise based on the selected waveform. It is used in "_Noise 03", "Transverse flute", etc.
The use of oscillators can be programmed according to the velocity sensitivity. For example, the program "_AM 04" simulates detuning sensitivity, and "Bass 03" uses two types of bass.
The operation of "LPF" can be inverted to allow the passage of high frequencies instead of low ones. The program "Sitar" is a good example.
"AM1" and "AM2" function as amplitude modulation at negative values and as frequency modulation at positive values. For example, if modulation is deactivated in "_AM 05", only a sine wave will be heard.
"Interval" allows the use of multiple oscillators as operators to form complex waveforms. Two good examples are "_Metallophone" and "_Percussion 01".
"Shift" can produce a particular detuning sensation using a single oscillator. It is used in the program "_Shift (sine)".
An interesting parameter is "Drive".
In waveforms like "Saw" or "Sinusoidal", it produces a sound more or less close to a square wave; but in real sound samples, like "String 01", it generates new high frequencies that greatly enrich these types of sounds.

* Some limitations

This first version is the result of just over a year of work surrounded by considerable uncertainty regarding its success.
As a consequence, all the research focused on generating interesting sounds, so it wasn't possible to pay special attention to MIDI.
In this regard, it's worth noting that functions like "Pitch bend" or "Aftertouch" are not included. It is possible to change the output level or program number from external devices.

* Installation

Although "SPG BW" doesn't strictly require installation, it's important to keep in mind that these types of files are not programs but libraries, so they must be called by a program.
Therefore, the steps to follow to use "SPG BW" with a specific program will depend on how that program works.
The first time you use "SPG BW," you will be prompted for a path where it can search for new programs or WAV files containing sound samples.
A significant number of programs are included that utilize most of "SPG BW's" capabilities.
An unlimited number of programs and WAV files can be used.
